For 70 years, the Porsche brand has been synonymous with the manufacturer of the highest level sports cars.
The first Porsche car was registered on June 8, 1948: it was the 356 “No. 1” Roadster. This date is considered Porsche’s birthday.

In model 356, Ferry Porsche fulfilled his dream of a sports car.
His vision at that time reflected all the values that the Porsche brand embodies today.
The history of the Porsche brand begins in 1948. However, the foundation of the production of sports cars is the life path of Professor Ferdinand Porsche: the path that his son Ferry continued.
By the beginning of the last century, Ferdinand Porsche had developed innovative automotive innovations.
In 1931, Ferdinand Porsche founded his own design bureau in Stuttgart. The Berlin-Rome car, introduced in 1939, was the beginning of his idea for a sports car called the Porsche.
This dream was only realized in 1948 by his son Ferry with the Porsche 356. The successor of the 356 model, the Porsche 911, designed by Ferry Porsche’s son, Ferdinand Alexander, finally approved the company as one of the leading manufacturers of sports cars in the world in terms of technology and design.
For all the time, the 911th, first introduced to the world public in 1963, was produced in the amount of more than a million copies.
This weekend, the company celebrates its anniversary with numerous events around the world. Since June 9, the Porsche Museum has celebrated its anniversary with a large-scale special exhibition.
On the same day, for fans of Porsche, the Sports Car Together Day event opens around the globe. On Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, Porsche invites employees, residents of Zuffenhausen and potential customers to an official celebration in and around the Porsche Museum.
The celebration will take place at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood, UK, July 12-15, and also at the Rennsport Reunion in California from September 27-30.
The celebration will end with the Sound Night, which will be held for the first time at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart on October 13th.
In Moscow, a festive event was held at the Moscow Raceway: an exhibition of classic Porsche, music, test drives on the fresh 991 and other entertainment.
For owners of classic Porsche free diagnosis of their car by specialists of the brand. Quizzes and contests, valuable gifts, the presentation of the new Cayenne, a delicious buffet and live music with dancing.
